Pancreatitis is the swelling of the pancreas and the pancreatic duct. This obstructs the enzymes that are emptied into the small intestine and alters the insulin production, hormone which regulates the use of sugar in the body.
The most common symptoms:

  • Pain around the navel extending towards the back
  • Stomach gas
  • Nausea, vomiting
  • Fever
  • Hypertension
  • Muscular pain

Since the enzymes that process fats are not passed into the small intestine, constipation is produced by the undigested fats. Diabetes is another problem that occurs.

The most frequent causes are: The formation of stones, tumors, viral infection, alcoholism, stroke, obesity, poor nutrition, drugs, etc.

Take chromium (contained in brewer’s yeast), calcium, magnesium, ginseng (helps process sugar while the problem exists), lecithin, B complex, Vitamins (B3, B5, B6) and Vitamins C and E, an important anti-oxidant and strengthen tissues.
