ERYSIPELAS

This is an infection caused by bacteria (streptococcus) which affects the skin with a much defined contour and is very painful.
Symptoms: A sudden high temperature may occur, which could reach 104 degree F. It takes the form of a spot with much defined contours, is red in color and generally starts on the face. The crisis lasts 5 to 6 days and ends with the peeling of skin.
Causes: Infection transmitted by contagion.

Suggestion:

Take strong doses of Echinacea as well as the intake of Vitamins A, C and E. It is also suggested to use ‘Good quality Sunscreen with Moisturiser’. If required, take to cold sponging to control the temperature. Consult your physician.
